O Tannenbaum

by Martin Tetzlaff

O Tannenbaum 07:30
O Tannenbaum, o Tannenbaum! O Tannenbaum, o Tannenbaum, du kannst mir sehr gefallen. O Tannenbaum, o Tannenbaum, dein Kleid will mir was lehren: die Hoffnung und Beständigkeit giebt Trost und Kraft zu jeder Zeit! O Tannenbaum, o Tannenbaum, dein Kleid will mir was lehren.

2020 was a sh*t of a year. Fitting to this sad period of everone's year I decided to make a suitable version of the christmas classic "O Tannenbaum". You should hear the christmas tree burning at the end of the track!
The second track "I'll Be Alone For Christmas (This Year)" describes this year's christmas for so many people due to the actual situation.
I hope you will like both songs!

Please get this single and support the Berlin-based bar "Posh Teckel"(www.poshteckel.de). These folks need every support and I decided to forward them all income from bandcamp until Corona is over. Make them a very merry christmas please!

Stay healthy and alive. Merry christmas to you!

Martin Tetzlaff is a Berlin-based songwriter with a strong pop sensibility and a penchant for sad melodies.

Martin’s songs evoke a landscape both melancholy and reassuring, like a bleak landscape seen from a train window on the way home from an failed tryst.

His many self-produced recordings blend rock instrumentation with electronic elements, and range from hushed folk to bombastic power pop.
